After making ourselves stay up until midnight due to the manta ray snorkel last night, we are already adjusting to a more “LeBeau schedule” in Hawaii time, and sleeping in. It is once again questionable if we will ever see another sunrise in the next four months. Luckily for us, we had no plans today beyond snorkeling at the beach near our hotel. We did some exploring of our hotel and the beautiful plants and birds by us.

We watched “Monday night” football at a bar in the middle of the afternoon while drinking mai tais today. It is a very strange experience for us being in this time zone! We packed up tonight, as tomorrow we check out of our Kona hotel, pick up our rental car, and head to the other side of the island to our Air B &B in Hilo, Hawaii. So excited to begin our explorations around the island, as we have the car and our rental place for a whole week! Stay tuned, and thanks for adventuring with us!
