“Mahalo” is a Hawaiian word meaning thanks, gratitude, admiration, praise, esteem, regards, or respects.

Today, we relaxed. We’ve been quite busy over the last week making tracks across the Big Island, so we took Sunday as a day of rest.

It was also a perfect day to appreciate our good fortune at being able to retire early, set out on this 4+ month adventure, and experience our great big beautiful world.
