After flying to Sydney yesterday, Jenna and Connor left Australia this morning and arrived in LAX safely as of about midnight tonight (our time). We were so relieved that the flight shut downs did not impact their flights. They have a three hour layover in LA and then fly home to Atlanta.

We had heard that Brisbane had a great craft beer scene, so with Jenna and Connor leaving Australia today (they are not beer people), our fun activity was taking a beer tour with Hop On Brewery tours. As it turned out, we were the only ones signed up for today’s tour, but they kindly did not cancel on us. So, we basically got a private beer tour from Matt, one of the owners, and we had a great time. He was a great teacher and we learned new things, sampled new beers, and had a lot of fun. He drove us to four different stops in the city and the tour included lunch.

We had a great time, but being our age, we had to come home and nap afterwards 😂. Here are a few more shots from our last day in Brisbane. We have really enjoyed it here! We are packing up now, as we leave tomorrow morning to start the next leg of our journey and another bucket list item we have always wanted to try out: CAMPER VAN LIFE!
